Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to Riven Systems digital resources, scripts, user interfaces, software components, models, textures, configuration files, documentation, and related materials (collectively, "Software"). It governs the rights granted when you obtain access to Software through an authorized purchase, bundle, membership, or other approved distribution method.

By installing or using the Software, you agree to the license conditions applicable to your acquisition. If the product listing or a separately agreed written license provides specific terms for your purchase, those terms govern that entitlement where they differ from this general Agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

1. License grant

Subject to valid acquisition and compliance with this Agreement, Riven Systems grants the authorized customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to install and use the Software for the FiveM server use authorized by the purchased product or license.

This is a license to use the Software, not a sale or transfer of its copyright or other intellectual property rights. The number of licensed servers, if restricted, must be determined from the applicable offer or separately issued license; this Agreement does not invent a universal server count.

2. Scope of licensed use

A valid license permits the purchaser to operate the applicable Software within the environment and purpose specified for the product. Reasonable private backup copies may be maintained for disaster recovery and authorized server administration, provided they are not redistributed or used to exceed the licensed scope.

If a customer employs a trusted server developer or administrator to install or maintain the Software, that individual may access the necessary materials solely on behalf of the authorized customer and for the authorized server. The customer remains responsible for safeguarding access and preventing unauthorized retention, copying, or distribution.

3. Restrictions

Except as expressly authorized by Riven Systems in writing or permitted by applicable law, you may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, trade, transfer, gift, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or license.
• Post source code, packaged resources, streamed assets, or other protected files to public or unauthorized private repositories, file-sharing services, or communities.
• Include the Software in a product pack, commercial resource collection, or other distribution without permission.
• Claim ownership or authorship of Riven Systems materials or remove legally required copyright and attribution notices.
• Evade, disable, or circumvent applicable license, authentication, escrow, or access-control measures.
• Provide the Software to another server operator under the guise of installation assistance or another unauthorized transfer.

Nothing here prohibits actions that applicable law expressly permits despite contractual restrictions.

4. Configuration and modification

Customers may edit configuration files and other components identified as intended for customization, to the extent made accessible by the resource and permitted by the applicable offer. Technical access to a file does not automatically grant permission to redistribute it or commercialize a modified version.

Riven Systems is not responsible for defects arising solely from unauthorized changes, removed dependencies, or third-party modifications. Where a modified installation is involved, support may require reproduction of the issue with an unmodified version and supported dependencies.

5. Ownership and third-party materials

Riven Systems and any relevant licensors retain their rights in the Software, documentation, artwork, product names, and brand materials. Components owned by third parties, including FiveM and game-related trademarks and technologies, remain subject to their own licenses and platform rules.

This Agreement does not grant ownership or exclusive rights over third-party assets. Riven Systems is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, FiveM, or Cfx.re.

6. Bundles and memberships

Each Software item within a bundle is licensed under the entitlement stated for that bundle. Purchasing a bundle does not automatically grant rights to products released later, an unlimited number of servers, or broader redistribution rights.

Software provided as a membership benefit may be subject to continued paid membership, depending on the exact offer. Whether a member may continue using a previously delivered resource after cancellation must be stated in the specific membership terms; this general Agreement does not assume a perpetual right or automatic revocation.

7. Product versions, updates, and compatibility

A license covers the Software and updates or versions expressly included with the purchased entitlement. It does not automatically guarantee every subsequent release, feature, premium add-on, or future product. Riven Systems may revise software and documentation over time. There is no promise of indefinite maintenance, uninterrupted access to external platforms, or compatibility with every server modification unless separately agreed.

The purchaser is responsible for installing the correct dependencies, maintaining backups, and following product-specific installation and update instructions.

8. Verification and account security

Where a resource or delivery platform uses a licensing or entitlement check, the customer must provide the minimum information reasonably required for verification through an authorized channel. The existence and type of verification depend on the particular resource and provider; this Agreement does not claim that every Riven Systems product uses an automated licensing system.

Information handled for access or verification is subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable third-party provider terms. Do not share passwords, license secrets, or account authentication credentials with unauthorized persons.

9. Termination for breach

Riven Systems may suspend or terminate licensed access for material breaches, including unauthorized redistribution, intentional circumvention of access controls, or fraudulent acquisition, subject to applicable law and any specific purchase agreement. We may investigate a reported breach and, where appropriate, allow the customer to address it.

Following valid termination, further use and distribution of the affected Software is not authorized. Termination does not erase legal rights or obligations that must continue by law.

10. No transfer of intellectual property

No payment, installation, license key, file delivery, server migration, or permitted configuration edit transfers ownership in the original Software. Permission to use Riven Systems branding or to market the Software as your own is not included in a standard license.

11. Warranties and responsibility

Software compatibility and expected behavior are based on the product version and the supported environment identified in the applicable listing. To the extent permitted by law, Riven Systems does not warrant uninterrupted operation across every third-party dependency, server modification, or future FiveM update. Nothing in this Agreement excludes rights that cannot legally be limited.

12. Refunds

Refunds and related remedies are governed by the separate Refund Policy, the original checkout platform's applicable terms, and consumer law. When a purchase is validly refunded and the license is rescinded, continued use may not be authorized, subject to the terms of the refund and applicable law.

13. Changes and contact

The version shown above identifies this published Agreement. Material changes affecting future purchases may be posted on our website. A revised Agreement will not retroactively remove rights under a prior purchase where prohibited by law.
