Overview

Riven TraumaCore is a roleplay injury and medical interaction resource. The reviewed build includes a medical status interface, medical bags, patient assessment and treatment interactions, incapacitation and revival states, transport equipment, AED interactions, and wearable tourniquet functionality. The feature set is intended for gameplay; it is not medical training and should not be used as a source of real-world medical instructions.

Installation

  1. Install compatible release builds of ox_lib and ox_target.
  2. Copy the complete riven_trauma_core folder into resources/.
  3. Start the dependencies before TraumaCore:
cfg
set onesync on
ensure ox_lib
ensure ox_target
ensure riven_trauma_core
  1. Review config.lua, including medical interaction options, testing commands, and permissions.
  2. Open the medical interface and test player interactions with another client connected.

When replacing an older TraumaCore build, the included README calls for replacing the complete resource folder while reapplying intentional configuration changes. Do not merge old scripts into the updated resource without reviewing changes.

Commands and interface

The package also documents technical or administrative commands such as /gorevisualreset, /gorestats, /goredebug, /meddebug, and controlled test/revive commands. Keep those separated from ordinary player instructions. Access to administrator and testing commands should be reviewed before public deployment.

Medical equipment workflows

Medical bag: The README describes carrying, deploying, recovering, and returning the medical bag to a vehicle when the corresponding configuration is enabled. It notes that opening F7 should not create a medical bag, and that the default configuration in the reviewed build has GiveDefaultBag = false.

AED: The package provides an AED placement process in which a user can position an in-game object on the ground, and other nearby players can interact with it through the supported target system. The commands and menus depend on the player's in-game state and position.

Tourniquets: Version 7.9.5 includes wearable tourniquet models and limb-specific treatment state. The game interaction is accessed through its medical interface or /tourniquet. This section documents the game feature only; it is not an instruction for emergency medical care outside the game.

Patient transport: The manifest includes stretcher, cervical-collar, transport, and carry modules. The precise interaction is governed by the installed product and ox_target configuration.

Troubleshooting

F7 does not open the panel: Verify both dependencies are started and inspect the client F8 console for NUI errors.

F7 triggers another interface: PA Dynamics also uses F7 in its reviewed package. Rebind one of the actions.

World interaction is missing: Confirm ox_target is present and running, and that the relevant medical feature and player conditions permit interaction.

Equipment looks missing or invisible: Check stream files and the client console for model issues.

Update produces older behavior: Confirm no older resource files were left behind and review the replacement instructions in UPDATE_v7_9_5.md.
